We’re not just account managers, project managers, interior designers, purchasing associates and hotel furniture craftspeople — we’re a team of unique and talented people with diverse backgrounds and a shared passion for doing great work.
A good project manager can mean the difference between a flawlessly furnished hotel and a logistical nightmare.
Meet Aiman, one of our Project Managers who acts on our clients’ behalf and serves as a main point of contact between the client and all the other groups making project plan a reality.
1. What’s the best part about being a Project Manager?
The versatility of it all. There’s a component where you can use your project management skills but also use your creative side, especially with what we do. Every property is so different and you get to work with a variety of people who all have a hand in a project in different ways, including working with different project teams internally and externally with designers, architects, contractors and other project managers.
3. What’s one skill you gain from working from home?
Adapting to different ways of managing resources, time and people. When you’re managing multiple projects at a time and there are so many critical moving pieces, you really need to know how to manage your schedule, communication and workload, and there’s difference when you’re doing that in person with your peers and project team versus from home.
4. If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?
Time travel. It would be fascinating to go back in time to see how everything started from the beginning and watch how humans have evolved over time. It would also be neat to then go into the future to see how things unfold!
