Millennials have been the hot topic for quite some time now and we’ve all seen the changes in hotel furniture and design to cater to this market. Millennials are young professionals, under 35, that are emerging as an important customer segment. This segment is on the raise for spending and travel.
Development Magazine spotlights a select few of ARDA’s Chairman’s League Members on the topic.
They asked Hospitality Designs as a hotel furniture manufacturer and interior design firm – What do you think are the most important factors of your firm needs to focus on to attract and keep this new customer happy.
“At Hospitality Designs, we know that the most important factors influencing design for Millennials is their need for social interaction, an awareness of the environment, and a love for technology. This generation is filled with social creatures who enjoy bright open communal spaces for social interaction. Specifications are also environmentally friendly and mixed with local items for both a unique look and as importantly sustainability. The incorporation of gadgets into the design allows this tech-savvy generation to recharge and stay connected.”
“Millennials are changing the face of interior design, and Hospitality Designs – with our own team of Millennials – is excited to grow with this trend!”
