At Hospitality Designs we maintain a long-standing tradition that each piece of furniture is made from the highest quality birch, maple, or oak wood solids and plywood veneers available. Each case piece exhibits the beauty of the special qualities of the wood it is created from, demonstrating its own characteristic variations in grain and color. The result is an elegant masterpiece, with a natural and unique feel.
Many contract furniture manufacturers use particle-board construction in the production of case pieces. Particle-board is made of saw dust or wood chips mixed with glue and compressed to form a board. Common problems with particle-board construction include moisture damage, wobbly furniture, and scratches and dents that cannot be repaired.
At Hospitality Designs, we use 3/4" birch, maple, or oak plywood veneers, to create all-wood furniture that has the same properties of solid wood but is lighter and far more cost effective. Plywood can be lightly sanded and re-stained, so any dents or scratches can be repaired.
The skilled craftsmen working in our manufacturing facilities use solid wood on all surfaces that require durability and moisture resistance. This creates a case piece with natural beauty that is enhanced by the use of solid wood top edges, which promotes extreme durability in areas that are highly visible and receive the most wear and tear. Using real wood on all surfaces provides our clients with a superior quality product that lasts longer and withstands more abuse.
Quality is what your guests remember...Experience quality.
